Frequently Asked Questions and Useful Links
How do I get started?
Ring or email me to arrange a no-obligation first meeting. This is an opportunity for you to tell me something about what is troubling you and to ask any questions you may have. You will also get an impression of what it would be like to work with me. If we decide to go ahead I will usually recommend an initial six sessions on a weekly basis with a review at the end of the sixth. We will, if possible, meet at the same time on the same day.
At this point you can decide to end if you feel you have achieved what you wanted or to continue if you would like to do longer term work.
When can I come?
I offer day and some early evening appointments. At the beginning it is preferable that appointments are on a weekly basis. Occasionally we may decide that it would be helpful to work twice a week for a period of time.
And where?
I see clients in Sheepscombe in easy reach of Stroud, Painswick, Nailsworth, Cheltenham, and Cirencester. There is car parking adjacent to the therapy room.
What are the fees?
The fees are £50 per 50 minute session. I have some concessions available for those in financial hardship and for student counsellors. My fees are reviewed annually in January.
